Other Particulars
- Reliance on DLL Modules. To reduce the memory footprint of the program the real-time help, dialog resources, menus, accelerator tables, toolbar bitmaps and the 3D procedural texture bitmap images are stored in external DLL files.
- Binary Scene File Format. A packet-based binary data file format (BDF) allows every aspect of a 3D scene to be loaded or saved quickly to disk. Selective scene elements can also be saved or loaded.
- Scene Comments Dialog Box. Verbose comments can be saved along with each BDF scene file.
- Remote Rendering. Because the NuGraf BDF disk file format is machine independent, any 3d file can be sent to a SUN, SGI or DEC Alpha machine for rendering using a stand-alone version of the NuGraf renderer.
